Elle E was once described by NME as a “one woman guitar menace from Cape Town”. She was born on a farm, but started making her first music while living in London.

Ellenie’s obsession with music has seen her forever exploring new sounds, and – over the years – creating albums and EP’s as Catwalk Trash, Two Stroke and Elle E. Her career in music has journeyed through lo-fi electronica, DIY experimentalism and fiery garage rock.

Her latest work as Elle E is the culmination of all her influences – an evocative soundscape that combines dreamy analog synth textures, layers of guitar – and the potent voice of a born performer.
